The central point of each lodge is the main dining, lounge and bar area which, in each case at Kiambi Lower Zambezi these facilities have been strategically positioned and designed to capitalise on the breathtaking views. The perfect places to relax, read, chat or simply soak up the magnificent scenery

Restaurant

We offer buffet style set menus. Our breakfasts and lunches are served under the thatched restaurant, whereas our dinner tables are set our around the fireplace under the African stars. The dining area is constructed of natural materials: thatch, reeds and stone flooring with Rhodesian teak furnishings.

Breakfast is served from 07h00 until 10h00
Lunch is served from 13h00 until 14h30
Dinner is served around the fire under the stars at 19h30.

Lounge & Bar

Kiambi Lower Zambezi offers stunning views across the Zambezi River from the lounge and bar area, set on the banks of the river. At Kiambi Lower Zambezi we offer our guests two lounge & bar areas - the lodge bar which is only open to lodge guests; and the campsite bar, which is air-conditioned, has a pool table as well as DSTV and is open to all guests. Please note no cash payments are accepted at the bars. Enjoy your sundowners from the comfort of the lounge & bar, as the African sun sets in the west over the mighty Zambezi River.

Swimming Pools

Two small swimming pools are available for guests to relax and cool off during those hot summer days. One is situated in the lodge area and is for lodge guests only, and one is situated in the campsite area for our campers and self catering guests. Cool and sociable plunge pools at Kiambi Lower Zambezi are great for cooling down or to simply relax.

Gym

If you are feeling energetic, Kiambi Lower Zambezi has a small gym on the banks of the river near the main jetty. It offers a treadmill, stationery bicycle and weights station. Take the stairs down to the main jetty, which are found between the luxury thatched tented chalets - two and three - and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul with a work out over looking the Zambezi River.

Boating facilities

At Kiambi Lower Zambezi we offer both boat storage facilities and a boat launching slipway; with campsite jetty, self catering cottage jetty and lodge jetty too.

A v-sat system has been installed at Kiambi, so as to provide twenty four hour internet access for our guests
